February 21, 2010, Make It Sew hosted our annual Sew-In in their Broomfield shop and

even though the snow was flying outside,

every sewing machine in the room was hummin’ right along.

Three volunteers have sewn their blocks

into rows and are getting ready to

attach them to make our snuggle quilt top.

As you can see, sharing the table is a must and they all did great.

Ellen set up and demonstrated quilting

on the Avante long arm machine,

then the volunteers got to test drive it too.

Everyone had a lot of fun and we had a great time meeting a lot of new volunteers from the north end of town.20 snuggle quilts and 3 twin sized quilts were completed by the end of the day.  (Anna & Dusty showing some here.)

We’re so proud to be a part of this Sew-In and appreciate all the time and efforts that Bob & Karen Juenneman, owners of the Make It Sew shop in Broomfield put into it to make this happen again this year.

Thanks to everyone that participated.

Two slides shows of the events of the day were created for your enjoyment.
