Cathy Furstenau |
Cathy Furstenau, one of our FHQ volunteers, is a great artist; she drew this cute little Dalmatian puppy sitting behind the firefighter’s helmet for us. Cathy donated this drawing as a tribute to her Dad, Jack Downes (03/17/17-09/17/95) who devoted his time and
energy to being a volunteer fire fighter for 30 years.

“FHQ has been the ideal spot for me to honor my father's memory.
I wanted to do something special just for him and FHQ served my purpose. Giving to others is the nicest compliment & memorial I could give him.”
Leslie Ehrlich of Pinyon Creek Ent. formatted Cathy’s drawing for use on paper so we could have it on business cards, letterheads, flyers, newsletter, etc.
Leslie also donated her time digitizing it so it can be embroidered on our shirts to get the word out about Firehouse Quilts.
Check out her website www.pinyoncreek.com and see if she can help you with any of your projects. She does beautiful work; logos for business, monograms & personalization, fabric baby gifts, afghans. 303-229-3620 or 970-674-0600, email:pinyoncreekent@prodigy.net .
Nice job and huge thanks to you both for creating this sweet little logo and
getting it into a format that we can use for FHQ. Great Job!
