the sweet 'angels' parents after receiving quilts from us. 

We try to get a photo of each child with the quilt they received.

Some of them have created a website to honor their little angel.

“I would like to thank your wonderful volunteers for the lovely quilt that you donated to Eli's Angels. My daughter Emma received one for her first birthday this past week.

It will be nice to take along with us to her many hospitalizations.”

My daughter has Leigh's syndrome, the same type of mito that Ann and Chad Kurtz little boy Eli had.

My name is Sarah Kordis, and I am the mother of Lily Rodrigues, one of Eli's Angels.  I have regretfully taken impossibly long to thank your wonderful team for Lily's beautiful quilt.  Her birthday is on April 7th and so, we received a pretty Easter quilt for her!  Attached is a picture of her with it!

From Another Eli’s Angel

This is a note received from Brian's parent.

Trenton, MI

   My name is Jamie MacDougall. I live in Trenton, Michigan with my family.

We joined the group Eli's Angels last year because of our son Brian.

He just turned six, and has a mitochondria disease.

We received his beautiful blanket a couple of weeks ago, and

I just want to say how very much it meant to us.

Of course, his brother, who is 8, wants one now...but they can share. 

Keep up the great work...it means more than you know!!

Hello Everyone, Camden received a wonderful blanket from Eli's Angels for his birthday which was a wonderful thing, we love the baseball theme on it.  Because of Camden's excessive mouthing, this gift couldn't have been any better. Cam sits on the floor for hours snuggeled up, enjoying the soft blanket against his face and head. We have also received 2 wonderful books and sweet cards from Eli's Angels, thank you!   

Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Kyle received his Birthday blanket while he was inpatient the other week. He slept with it every night. Now he has to fight Conrad the service dog for it each night. Thanks for the blanket and the birthdya cards

To everyone   I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Eli's angels.  Sara received her birthday blanket in the mail last Friday and it's just beautiful.  All the notes and the books that you send her throughout the year are such a spirit lifter to the whole family.  It's so encouraging to know that there are such kind and generous people in the world today.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU. Jacob recieved his Birthday Box he was
so exited. He loved his puppy and his blanket. We have had a rough
month ( we lost my brother to Cancer and Jacob's brother Cameron was
diagnosed with brain lesions)it was so nice to recieve a wonderful
surprise that put a smile on Jakes face. I just wanted to say thank you
for all that you do.
