Firehouse Quilts 5th Annual Quilt Show This is our major fund raising event. Please help support our mission of helping children in crisis by attending our show. Over 120 award winning quilts will be on display, vendors will sell their wares, local musicians have donated their time to play soft background music. Our famous Bed Turning will show and describe different quilt patterns, color arrangement and you'll hear the history of Firehouse Quilts. An on-site cafe, Wild Blue, has a nice selection of meals to purchase. Located at Cherry Hills Community Church 3900 Grace Blvd in Highlands Ranch CO 80126 Admission: $7 per person (allows re-entry both days with hand stamp)

Denver Metro Area Longarm Association Each year, the Denver Metro Area Longarm Association displays their members' quilts in a show at the Englewood Public Library, 1000 Englewood Parkway, (303) 762-2560. See the quilts during regular library hours from now through July 26. Admission is free. |
| August 20-22, 2010 | August 20-22, 2010 is the Rocky Mountain Quilt Festival at The Ranch, Loveland CO. It includes a quilt, doll show, vendors and classes. We're having a new fund-raising event to encourage friends, family, neighbors, business contacts, etc. to dine at this great Mexican restaurant. This event is only valid at their Quebec/C-470 location & is to help support our Firehouse Quilts mission of helping children in crisis. Who wants to cook on a Tuesday night? Tell your neighbors and ask them to bring a flyer and come dine out. Bring your whole family and have a nice dinner out. Just order your dinners from their regular menu any time from 4p-10p on Friday, Sept. 28, 2010 and On the Border will donate 10% of the total purchases to Firehouse Quilts. The Cats’ Night Out Duo features recording artists Robert & Karen Juenemann. Together, they perform original jazz tunes and music from the Big Band Era—Swingin’Jazz.
Their music is free spirited and delightful. They have performed nationally in many settings: concerts, jazz festivals, private performances, colleges & universities. Combined, the duo has over a dozen recordings; some of which are still in print and currently available. $35 per person All proceeds benefit the museum.
