CANDY DROZ
Candy has been sewing since she was a very little girl. Quilting came later but more than 40 years ago. She teaches, lectures, and judges. She has judged in numerous states for the last 12 years. She belongs to numerous Quilt Guilds and Quilt Organizations, and her goal is to encourage quilters in all aspects of the art.

KAREN ROXBURGH
Karen is a quilter, teacher, lecturer, professional machine quilter, quilt judge and curator at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum. She lived for 22 years in the Dallas / Fort Worth area where she began her quilting career, and moved back to Arvada, CO (her hometown) in 2004.
Karen's quilts have been published in Quilter's Newsletter Magazine, as well as featured in special quilt exhibits in local quilt shows, galleries, exhibit halls and the 2004 & 2008 Houston International Quilt Show. Working in fiber since the mid 1980s, Karen has earned numerous ribbons for her work at local, state and national quilt competitions. Having won several "Best of Show" awards for her personal work as well as numerous awards for quilting done for others, Karen continues to develop her quilting skills and knowledge by regularly attending quilting classes, lectures and shows nation-wide.
After completing the 2002 National Quilting Association Judging seminar, Karen began judging local quilt shows in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and continued judging in Colorado, where she is an active judge for the Colorado Quilt Council. She feels it is very important to stay abreast of the latest quilting trends and judging philosophy.

JEANNIE SPEARS
Jeannie has been quilting since 1974 and retired at the end of 1999 as Senior Features Editor for Quilter's Newsletter Magazine. She is a NQA Certified Teacher and Judge, and helped develop the NQA Master Quilter's Guild program and the AQS Appraiser Certification program. She is the founding editor of The Professional Quilter Magazine in 1983.
