MAP/DIRECTIONS

The success of any quilt show is determined by the quilters that enter their quilts to be displayed at the show.   Firehouse Quilts depends on quilters from all over our community allowing us to show their beautifully crafted quilts.  We average about 100 gorgeous quilts on display each year.

We welcome any and all quilters to display your quilts in our show.

All quilts displayed this year require a cloth hanging sleeve, securely attached to the top, back of the quilt.  Easy instructions to make and attach your sleeve can be found here.

Although, the Firehouse Quilts Annual Quilt Show is our only fundraiser,

we pride ourselves in providing a very affordable venue for our quilting friends

to display their work and to bring friends, neighbors and relatives

to the show to enjoy the display.

We especially encourage young quilters to enter our show/contest

and even have two special categories just for them so they

are not competing against seasoned quilters.

Local and national quilt shops and businesses donate items we use

in Quilter’s Gift Baskets for our prizes.

Nearly 30 vendors will also display their wares in our show this year.

Musicians play live music throughout both days of the show.

Wild Blue, an on-site café, is open for snacks and meals enjoyed indoors or out on a beautiful patio lined with wooden rocking chairs, offering a spectacular view

of our front-range mountains.

Apple Cider, our celebrity Dalmatian that poses for our quilt show logo each year, will be available both days between 1pm – 3pm, for free pictures and

‘paw’ autographs for the public.

You may notice that the Quilt Hall will close 1 hour earlier than our Vendor Hall on the last day of our show.  (Quilt Hall closes at 4pm; Vendor Hall closes at 5pm).  This gives our volunteers time to take the quilts down, organize them and return them to their owners while everyone that entered their quilt will have some relaxing time to enjoy the vendors’ booths and make last minute purchases.

This year, we offer two methods to easily enter a quilt in our 2009 quilt show.
