Reports from Skyline Fire Department:
10-03-06 - “We had a little 13 mo. girl whose parents were involved in a domestic disturbance. Both she and the mom were so appreciative. Thanks to everyone who works on making these "hugs" available.”
03/05/07, we gave a quilt to a 6 year old boy with autism, who was experiencing a seizure. His family was so very grateful for the extra "hug" the quilt provided.
04/07 - We just got back into the station following a call on a 7 year old boy. His face lit up when presented with his quilt. "Do I really get to keep it for my very own?" (Sound to me like he doesn't get many things that are "just his").
