Firehouse Volunteers Treated to a Weekend of Appreciation

The volunteer members of Firehouse Quilts gathered in historic Louviers for a weekend of appreciation on October 14 & 15, 2016.  During the two days in Louviers everyone was able to work on their personal quilting projects as well as quilts for children in crisis.  The 1920’s Louviers Village Club is in the center of a quaint old town surrounded by the splendor of fall colors.  Volunteers enjoyed a dinner and dessert together on Friday evening, followed by surprise appreciation gifts.  The gifts were donated items from various suppliers made possible by Dianne M. and Lynn E.  The second day was spent doing more quilting and visiting together.  The volunteers look forward to this annual event and the opportunity to enjoy doing what they love to do and that is quilt.
