Crisis Center Receives Quilts

On September 16th Jordyn, a Client Navigator of Crisis Center, received 15 large quilts and 15 snuggle quilts for the shelter.  The Crisis Center serves Douglas, El Paso, Arapahoe, and Lincoln counties, and works to end domestic violence through advocacy, education and prevention.  Clients are allowed a three week stay at the shelter and are housed in any of the three family rooms or the two shared rooms.  The advocates help their clients with relocation to a safe home, food and clothing, a safety plan, crisis intervention, legal assistance, kids groups, and art and horse therapy.  FHQ members making the delivery to the Crisis Center were Joyce S and Jacque S.
