Client Services at Catholic Charities is Busy

On November 12th, 64 quilts were delivered to Katie, a client service advocate at Castle Rock Catholic Charities.  In addition to the quilts they received two afghans, ten receiving blankets, and three baby hats.  Their office has been assisting clients with food needs, utility bill assistance, and rent and gas cards.  There has been a recent increase in hotel voucher requests from clients.  Catholic Charities has had two cars donated to them and they were able to gift them to families in need.  Providing transportation can be impactful on an individual’s journey to self-sufficiency.  The Adopt-a-Family Christmas Outreach program for the holiday season has just begun and it matches sponsors with families in need to provide Christmas presents.  The Firehouse Quilts donation of quilts will go to the children of clients seeking assistance at this agency.
