Sheridan Victim Advocate Office Replenishes Quilt Supply

On November 5th, 65 quilts were delivered to Tina Ramirez, the Sheridan Victim Advocate Coordinator.  This office works in conjunction with officers of the Sheridan Police Department and they are called to schools, homes, accident scenes, and the streets.  Tina has eight interns who help her provide for the emergency needs of victims of crimes.  The crimes include assault, child abuse, domestic violence, kidnapping and sexual assault.  Sheridan Advocates provide referrals for monetary assistance, accessing reports, protective orders, medical and rehabilitation services.  Tina keeps a supply of the quilts from FHQ in her office for clients and police officers keeps them in their vehicle.
